Tucasi Limited are pleased to add a further functionality into their ever-expanding toolkit for schools. The education software provider has just completed its acquisition of MINTclass. MINTclass will join seven other successful modules in the Tucasi directory.
Previously developed by Minted Box Education Limited, MINTclass is an online application created to assist teachers, giving them essential student information at their fingertips. Alleviating manual classroom management tasks, MINTclass allows teachers to spend more time on specific learning objectives. The formalised acquisition process was completed on 31st October 2018.
Chris Kirk, Director of education strategy company CJK Associates Ltd, supported the journey from start to finish. Chris commented “I am very pleased to have taken part in combining two educational software innovators. Both organisations have very similar beliefs and ethics, which is to benefit the children of tomorrow through technology.”
The handover process is expected to take around 6 months. Iain Bell, previously of MINTclass, is working closely with Tucasi to create a smooth transition and integration. Iain commented “Everyone at MINTclass is excited to be joining an organisation with a truly Global backing. We succeed by being an agile, small organisation, but the financial and operational backing of established leaders like Tucasi will give MINTclass an ever-brighter future.”
Peter Redding, Managing Director of Tucasi commented “We are extremely excited to welcome MINTclass into Tucasi. Here at Tucasi we are constantly developing, growing and adapting to school’s requirements. This is evident in the scope and success of our existing modules.”
“The addition of MINTclass will provide us with a fantastic foundation for improving classroom environments for teachers. It is an exciting chapter to embark upon, as we currently specialise in office, administration and finance software for schools. The arrival of MINTclass will allow us to further focus our attention on improving everyday classroom life”.
Tucasi and MINTclass now both operate beneath a constantly growing number of companies run within the Jonas Software Group. Jonas Software is in turn one of 7 operating groups of Constellation Software Inc. As a company, Tucasi benefits from the operational and financial support of the Jonas Software Group.
