"We have been using ‘Schools Cash Office’ since March 2010. The initial training covered everything we needed to know and the transition from paper records to electronic has been extremely smooth and trouble free. The use of ‘Schools Cash Office’ for recording trip payments has been especially beneficial as we are now able to produce receipts, payment cards, debt letters and trip lists at the touch of a few buttons. We are very pleased with the service and support we receive and would happily recommend Tucasi’s ‘Schools Cash Office’ system."

Gift Aid
Tucasi’s Gift Aid feature allows schools to quickly and easily record payments on which tax can be reclaimed, in other words, Gift Aid donations. Parents, friends or other family members of pupils at the school who are tax payers can register so their payments are treated as Gift Aid donations where appropriate. When a Gift Aid eligible payment is received, the Tucasi system prompts the school to select the name of the donor. If parents are not registered for Gift Aid, then the system can automatically create a customised registration form for them. Once the Gift Aid payment is recorded the following areas within the system are automatically updated; pupil payment history, Gift Aid files and the Audit and Banking systems. Schools can then run the Gift Aid Payment Report at a click of a button. This report shows who made the payment in the relevant tax period, amount they have paid and the date of their last payment. The Gift Aid reclaim process could not be easier or quicker.
