Development Opportunities - Eastleigh
The role: Software Developer
- You will work with PC and web-based development tools and be involved with all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis, through design and programming, to delivery and support.
- Training will be given where required, but we would expect new recruits to be making a real contribution within a very short period of time.
- The position is based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, although occasional travel to customer sites in the UK may be required.

The Ideal Candidate
- You will be a new or recent graduate/post-graduate in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science, Maths, Engineering).
- Applications from candidates in other degree disciplines will be considered if they can demonstrate an aptitude for software development, and a desire to work in the industry.
- You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
- Although we are primarily looking for graduate level recruitment, we will consider applications from more experienced candidates who are already working in software development.

Technical Sales/Training Opportunities - Birmingham, Midlands, Essex, Herts
The role: Application Specialist
- Demonstrating the Tucasi system to schools.
- Demonstrating the system to schools at Bursars’ meetings.
- Delivering training and implementation support to schools that have purchased the system.
- Collating customer requirements to feed back to the product development team.
The job will require you to work in close co-operation with our telephone-based Account Managers who will book your appointments and then follow up to get orders from schools after you have delivered a demonstration. The demonstrations and post-sales training will normally be delivered at the school premises and the job therefore requires you to travel. Most travel will be within 2 hours of your home base. In addition, you will deliver some pre-sales demonstrations and some training over the Internet. The job will require you to work from home; you will need to visit our offices in Hampshire reasonably frequently to maintain your technical knowledge and to develop relationships with co-workers.

Technical Sales/Training Opportunities – Nationwide
The role: IT Demonstrator / Trainer
This role is interesting and diverse, focusing on demonstrating the Tucasi bespoke software system to schools and Local Education Authorities. Demonstrations will usually be delivered on site at school premises and you will therefore need to be happy to travel.
Ideal candidates will have a solid background in IT, with experience of demonstrating, presenting and/or training in IT systems. You should have the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly and be able to present advantages and benefits of a system. An understanding of school administrative processes would be beneficial but not essential. Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite.
The role will require you to be based from home but you will also need to visit our Head Office in Eastleigh to attend meetings and maintain technical knowledge.

Sales Opportunities - Hampshire
Account Manager
This diverse role will involve making initial contact with schools to describe the company and product, sending information where appropriate, arranging demonstrations of the system and following through to order.
Ideal candidates will have a background in Sales, either telephone or face to face, and the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly. You will be well organised and numerate with a good grasp of IT systems (MS Office products in particular). An understanding of school administrative processes would be beneficial but not essential. Excellent communications skills are of course a prerequisite.
This role is based in Eastleigh, the hours are 9am to 5pm, but there can be some flexibility in working hours.
